Lynn Van Dine and Tim Weller are co-owners and operators of

Professional Writers & Editors.

Tim Weller is an independent copywriter and consultant who founded Professional Writers & Editors in 2004 with his partner and wife, Lynn Van Dine. 

Tim specializes in public relations, direct mail, ghost writing and creating marketing materials for non-profits. He has written copy for dozens of clients, including the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands, the Asian Programs Foundation and Northeast Publications. 

Before starting Professional Writers & Editors, Tim spent 30 years in journalism, working as a reporter and editor at some of the country’s largest newspapers, including USA Today and The Detroit News.

Lynn C. Van Dine is an award-winning feature writer, an author and an adept layout editor.

Her work has appeared in dozens of publications, including USA Today, The Detroit News, the Detroit Free Press, magazines including Yankee, Home Remodeling and Cape Cod Life magazine.

She has written for corporate public relations projects for General Motors’ Cadillac division, school systems, hospitals, universities and advertising agencies.

A specialist in American folk and decorative art, she is the author of a book, The Search for Peter Hunt (2003, The Local History Company), a biographical fiction. Her work has appeared in several art magazines and museum catalogues.
